Mellasat M Cabernet Sauvignon
Food Pairing: Chicken in a skillet with Garlic and Honey
When a serious day calls for a serious wine, look no further. This Cabernet Sauvignon is serious. Juicy dark fruits with the structure to back it up. It has notes of earth, smoke, leather, over ripe fruits, everything you want in an eight-year-old Cab. This Cabernet Sauvignon is a heavy hitter and conventional wisdom would have you pair this with an equally heavy hitting steak. I however like to do something interesting with my pairing and decided on chicken. Yes, chicken. I find that the sauce with honey, soy, and ginger really works well with the earthy notes in the wine. But hey, if you feel like doing it up with a steak or simply sipping this by the fireplace on a Wednesday night, go for it! I won’t judge
